Lent
Soo it came by super quick, ash Wednesday is already tomorrow and now is the time for sacrifice. I gave up all the social networking sites I use. I feel like it would be a good break from all the things that people post, the gossip, the negativity. Which kind of lends itself to something I want to add during lent which is to be less judgemental about what people say online and to be less negative about myself. Seeing all these girls on Tumblr or all the exciting things that others are doing in their lives brings out the green eyed monster of jealousy because I don’t look like that or I’m not doing as much as other people when it really shouldn’t be like that. I am so blessed and I feel like I take all those blessings for granted. So hopefully this lent I can work on bettering myself and getting closer to God. Plus I’ll be able to focus on school more haha. That being said, let the 40 days begin.
